Claire has been a professional performing artist for the past 20 years, with hula hoops, stilt walking, aerials and fire performance  working in festivals, events, street performance and even a little stint with the circus. She attended CircoArts at Christchurch Polytechnic in 2005 before embarking in a career in both Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand before settling down to country life in Kandanga.

Claire also has little side hobby of creating costumes, so if you require a theme that is not already offered, please contact us to discuss a tailor made theme.

Animal welfare is very important to us. All our animals are trained using positive reinforcement, making the training and working process an enjoyable experience for them, so it is not just the guests having fun! No whips, bits or other coercive tools are used on our animals for training or performance.

Claire is also a force free trainer and coach, helping people solve behaviour and training issues with their pets to build happy, fulfilling relationships. Claire utilises an animal centric approach and adheres to the Humane Hierarchy. She holds a Diploma in Animal Behaviour Science and Technology and is committed to continuing education.
